This week I focused on beginning to gather visual content for the Spring 2026 Honors Program Newsletter. On Sunday, I spent about 3.5 hours tracking down photos that could be used throughout the newsletter.

To find images, I primarily used the Honors Program’s Instagram and LinkedIn pages. These platforms had a lot of photos from recent events, student activities, and Honors Program moments that would work well in the newsletter. My goal during this time was to start organizing visuals that match the different sections of the newsletter so that the layout begins to feel more complete.

As I continue filling in the newsletter with real content and images, I’m starting to see how the design is coming together. The more content I add, the easier it becomes to refine the layout and make small creative adjustments while still staying within the structure of the template that I was asked to follow.

Overall, this week helped move the newsletter from just a basic skeleton layout toward something that actually reflects the Honors Program and the experiences students are having.
